Top 5 Dental Clinic Software in India (2026): An Honest Comparison

Choosing clinic software is one of those decisions you only notice when it goes wrong. A slow calendar, a billing screen your receptionist hates, or reminders that never go out will cost you hours every week. This guide looks at five dental clinic management tools that Indian dentists are comparing right now, and how to choose between them.

Read this first. Ivoro Dental publishes this blog, and Ivoro is one of the five. We have kept the list in alphabetical order so no one is "ranked first" by us, and we list Ivoro's gaps next to its strengths. Every claim about the other tools comes from that vendor's own public website, checked on 22 October 2026. Software changes fast, so treat this as a starting point and confirm details in a demo.

What to look for before you compare names

Feature lists look alike. These six questions separate tools that fit your clinic from tools that only look good in a brochure.

  1. Charting you will actually use. Can you mark findings tooth by tooth, turn them into a treatment plan, and see the history at a glance?
  2. Billing that suits India. GST-ready invoices, part payments, and a clear record of who still owes you.
  3. WhatsApp and SMS reminders. Patients answer WhatsApp. Check whether it sends from your own number or a shared one, and what it costs to message at volume.
  4. Multiple chairs and branches. Even a one-clinic practice needs chair-wise scheduling. If you may open a second branch, check how branches are handled.
  5. Your data stays yours. Can you export everything to a file you can open, today, without asking permission?
  6. Support and a real trial. Who answers when the system is slow at 10 am on a Monday?

01

Cliniify

Best for clinics that want AI assistance and a patient-facing app.

Cliniify presents itself as an AI-based dental clinic management platform. Its site describes an AI copilot called Axon that assists with questions, diagnosis support and treatment planning, facial recognition for patient check-in, a patient app for booking, records and prescriptions, multi-clinic management on one dashboard, material tracking and reporting.

Strengths

  • A wide set of AI and patient-engagement features
  • A mobile app for patients
  • Multi-clinic view for groups

Keep in mind

  • Its pricing page says plans are built around your clinic's size and team and quoted on request, so you cannot compare cost from your desk
  • Ask for a live demo of the AI features with your own cases
02

Dentospire

Best for clinics that want AI woven into everyday work.

Dentospire describes itself as India-first, AI-powered dental software. Its feature page lists X-ray highlighting that the dentist reviews, voice-to-SOAP clinical notes, a clinic AI assistant, 32-tooth charting with surface marking, drag-and-drop scheduling, GST billing, a patient portal, lab orders, e-signable consent forms, WhatsApp reminders and multi-branch reporting. It also says it offers a free plan.

Strengths

  • One of the longest feature lists in this group
  • Voice notes and X-ray assistance for the dentist to review
  • Patient portal and inventory included

Keep in mind

  • A big feature set can mean a longer learning curve for your team
  • The site says AI output is for the dentist to check, which is the right way to use it
03

Ivoro Dental

Best for clinics that want the daily basics done well, with a free clinic website included.

Ivoro is our own product, so read this entry with that in mind. It covers the work of the front desk and the chair: an appointment calendar by chair and by dentist, patient profiles with a 3D tooth chart and visit history, treatment plans, GST invoices that are cancelled and reissued instead of deleted, WhatsApp reminders and receipts, bilingual English and Hindi consent forms, staff roles for owner, doctor and receptionist, and reports that show collected money and dues. Each clinic also gets its own website with a blog editor and a booking form. Owners can switch features on or off per branch, and add specialty packs for endodontics, implants, orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics and paediatrics.

Strengths

  • Free clinic website and SEO tools inside the software
  • Per-branch control of invoice series, GSTIN, WhatsApp number and features
  • Data export to files, with no lock-in
  • Voice search in English and Hindi

Where we are behind

  • Ivoro is new. Others on this list have been in clinics for longer, so we have less of a track record
  • No AI X-ray analysis today
  • No patient mobile app today
  • No ABDM integration today

If those gaps matter to you, pick a tool that has them. If you want a clean, fast clinic system with WhatsApp and a website built in, ask for a demo.

04

MolarPlus

Best for small clinics that want to see plans and limits before they talk to anyone.

MolarPlus covers patient records, a visual appointment calendar with reminders and online booking, SMS and WhatsApp communication, consent forms, and billing with payment tracking and insurance claims. Its pricing page lays out its plans openly, with limits on branches, staff logins, storage and patients listed per plan. The same group also makes software for dental labs.

Strengths

  • Plans and limits are published, so you can budget
  • Works across desktop, tablet and phone
  • Lab-side software from the same group

Keep in mind

  • Check which features sit in which plan, and what happens when you pass a limit
  • Ask how WhatsApp sending works on the plan you pick
05

Practo Ray

Best for clinics that want an established brand and ABDM-linked tools.

Ray is Practo's clinic management product. Its site highlights ABDM tools, including access to the Unified Health Interface and uploading patient health records, plus automated appointment SMS, online payments from patients, and follow-up messaging after a consultation. Practo's help centre documents a dental EMR with a dental chart and lab tracking for crowns, bridges and dentures.

Strengths

  • A well-known name patients may already recognise
  • ABDM-related features on the product page
  • Dental charting and lab tracking in the dental EMR

Keep in mind

  • Ray is a general clinic platform with dental modules, not a dental-only product
  • Ask which dental features and messaging channels are included in your plan

Other tools worth a look

This is not the full market. Names such as SmileBooks, BestoSys and Dentsoftware also come up in Indian clinic software searches, and we did not compare them here. If one of them is on your shortlist, run it through the same six questions above.

How to run a trial that tells you the truth

Do this with every tool you shortlist, in the same week, so you compare like with like.

  1. Book a full day of real appointments, including a walk-in and a reschedule.
  2. Create a treatment plan and a GST invoice with a part payment.
  3. Send a WhatsApp reminder to your own phone and check how it looks.
  4. Export your data and open the file.
  5. Ask your receptionist to use it without help. If she gets stuck, so will a new hire.
  6. Ask what support looks like on a busy day, and how fast they replied before you paid.

So which one should you pick?

  • Want AI features and a patient app: look hard at Cliniify and Dentospire.
  • Want published plans and a low-friction start: look at MolarPlus.
  • Want an established brand and ABDM links: look at Practo Ray.
  • Want a fast, focused clinic system with WhatsApp and a free website included: try Ivoro.

Whatever you choose, test it with your own clinic's workday before you commit. The best software is the one your team still uses six months later.
